Board of trustees & organizational structure
The foundation is governed by a Board of Trustees constituted under its registered statutes. The Board approves the annual programme plan and budget, appoints the Executive Coordination team, oversees compliance with Venezuelan non-profit law, and ratifies the annual activity and financial report. Trustees serve in a voluntary capacity and receive no remuneration for their governance role.
Operational responsibility sits with the Executive Coordination team, which manages academic programming, experimental field operations, community partnerships and administration. An Academic Committee reviews curriculum content and participant outcomes each cycle, while an internal control procedure governs procurement, expenditure authorisation and the safeguarding of donated goods and grant funds.
Conflict-of-interest declarations are recorded for every trustee and senior officer. Any person with a personal or economic interest in a proposed decision abstains from the corresponding deliberation and vote.
